春天了，检索一些有关春的诗歌。看到一首郭沫若翻译英国诗人托马斯·纳什《春》的作品。比对原文看了一下，发现所谓的“大家”“名家”真的没什么。郭沫若在文坛的地位可说是够高了，可翻译出来的东西很多出自他自己的杜撰，把原诗里根本不曾有的东西也搬来凑数。甚至随意揉进去一些诗经里的意境。郭沫若的译本至少有三分之一是错误的。原诗里面根本找不到什么“柳树，榆树，山楂树”，更不要提什么“哥哥”和“插一禾”了。
翻译外文诗，意思准确永远是第一位，诗体和格式则在其次。随性将原诗按照自己的意思翻译了一下，贴在此处以博各位雅正。

一年里的快乐之王。
在这个季节
每一个生物都在勃勃欲放
在这个时候
多少少女围在一处团团起舞。
寒冷已不在锥人，

注解；
1)该诗第一段第二句里的两个“then”是在强调春天这个特定的时段，郭译本里把这两个最重要的强调丢弃了，偏离了作者写春是欢乐之王的初衷。
2)“dosing”里的“do”是强调式，表示“确实”“的确”“真的”。例如；“Idowanttohaveit.”,我的的确确想要这个。郭沫若的译本没有把这层意思表达出来。
3)末一句完全是鸟儿发出的象声词，没有任何意思，按着发音找些字就可以了。不知郭译本里何以会出现了“哥哥”和“割麦，插一禾”，割麦的季节再早也到了五月，春天早就过了。长麦子的地方，割过后也不会去插稻子。看样子郭老实在是不知庄稼是怎么回事。想高雅一下学学诗经，结果有些四不像。
4)“Cuckoo”是布谷鸟的意思，本身也是一个象声词，从整句看还是译成象声词顺畅。该句中的四种叫声代表了四种不同的鸟，有些象征百鸟争鸣的意思。
5)英文表达多数只用一个“S”就可以了，但在翻译中却绝不能忽略这个复数“S”所传达的意思。一个“S”翻译成中文会用很多的字，只有这样才能使诗的原意表达出来，全诗也会显得丰满。
6)第二段第三句的“lay”是短诗的意思，“tune”是为什么配调，与什么和声，郭译本里的“一片悠扬声韵”根本没有出处。该句里的“this”是特指词汇，必须要说明白“this”指的是什么。
7)第三段里的“wives”是复数，指很多年老的妇女，后面用了一个合成词“a－sunningsit,很多人却只有一个“sit”，说明是大家共享的，郭译本会让人误解只有一位老妪在晒太阳。
8)末一段的“dogreet”和第一段的“dosing”语式是一样的。“greet”问候的意思。郭译本把这一整句的意思都没表达出来。
《春天》用鸟叫声贯穿全诗，从郊野到村庄，再到城里，处处花香，到处欢笑，百鸟啾啾，齐声奏鸣，一片春天的明媚，到处祥和温馨的流淌。郭沫若的译文没有抓住这条主线，把最精华的地方忽略了，换成了支离破碎的堆砌。
