话剧
2010年9月9日，为纪念张爱玲诞辰九十周年的话剧《张爱玲》召开了新闻发布会，宣布话剧《张爱玲》将于10月21日到10月31日登陆北京朝阳9个剧场。
话剧通过张爱玲生命中最重要的6个人来实现某种“还原”———张爱玲的父亲张志沂、一生最爱的男人胡兰成、美国老公赖雅、妈妈黄逸梵、姑姑张茂渊和好友炎樱。国家话剧院“四小名旦”之一的师春玲饰演张爱玲。张爱玲内心的矛盾、坦荡、惶恐，由师春玲演来，仿佛存在于我们生活中很近的地方。而68岁的表演艺术家许还山在《张爱玲》一剧中出演张爱玲的美国丈夫赖雅，表现了一段年龄跨度超过30岁的忘年恋。
音乐剧
由闫月导演、作曲的音乐剧《张爱玲》，继2010年首演深受好评后，2013年受邀第二届国际女性戏剧节，在5月14日-23日、北京大隐剧场连演10场。
2010年10月21日至10月31日，一部名为《张爱玲》的音乐舞台剧将在北京试演，这是中国第一部人物传记音乐剧，也是第一部以张爱玲为主角的张爱玲相关题材的作品。
